AUBURN___Katherine E. (Golembeski) Ermanski, 88, of Auburn, died Thursday August 10 in the Jewish Health Care Center, Worcester.
She leaves a sister, Helen E. Prostak of Auburn; a brother, Edward Golembeski of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes P. Keddie and a brother, Anthony W. GLenn. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Julius and Elizabeth (Daglis) Golembeski and lived most of her life in Worcester before coming to Auburn in 2001.
Ms. Ermanski was a supervisor and social worker many years for the City of Worcester Welfare Dept., now the Dept. of Transitional Assistance and retired in 1983. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Worcester. Katherine was a graduate of the former Commerce High School, Worcester.
The funeral is private with burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 596 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA., 01610 or to Jewish Health Care Hospice Program, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
