It is with deepest sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of the beloved Paula Ann (Brown) Brumbaugh, 78, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home in Chepachet, RI. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the wife of James R. Brumbaugh. They would have celebrated 59 years of marriage in September 2025.
She was unforgettable in every way – through her kindness, warmth, and the love she gave to all. She had the most contagious laugh that could brighten up any room andmost importantly, her love was limitless.
Born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl (McCoy) Brown.
She is survived by her two daughters: Nicole Alger and Leah Kilduff, as well as her son-in-law, Steven Kilduff. She is joined in eternal rest with her eldest son, Kyle James Brumbaugh. She leaves behind her
four grandchildren: James, Jack, Skyler Rivera and Sophia Pearl, her great grandson, Theodore and her soon to be great granddaughter. Paula’s grandkids were the light of her life and her driving force in all that she did. Paula also leaves behind her sister, Shirley Myers and her husband, Kenneth. She was the sister to the late Norma Giardina and her husband, Robert. She also had several nieces
and nephews. She will be forever missed by her most prized companion, her dog Charlie ‘Chuck”.
Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends and all who were blessed to have known her.
She will forever be deeply missed.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 12 noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, in Greenville Rhode Island. Burial will follow in Acote’s Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Rhode Island. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5th from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the RISPCA.
