Obituary

Dorothy Ann (Breen) Piscatelli, age 87, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, February 26th, at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Raised and educated in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Alice (Webber) Breen. Dorothy has lived in Medford, MA for 56 years and was employed as an Operator and Dispatcher for New England Telephone.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Piscatelli, and the devoted mother of Diane Piscatelli-Towle and her husband Thurston, David Piscatelli and his wife Barbara, Alyson Ritondo and her husband Chris, and Tracey Mangold and her husband John. She was the loving grandmother of Eliza and Isabelle Towle; Isabella, Camron, Juliana, Ruby and Lily Piscatelli; Jamie, Thomas and Olivia Ritondo; and Jack, Ava and Aiden Mangold. Dorothy was the dear sister of Carole O'Connor and her husband Ed, Paul Breen his wife Susie, and the late Ruth “Sissy” Blake and her surviving husband Billy, Leo “Junie” Breen and his late wife Eileen, and the late Barbara Breen. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford on Saturday, March 15th at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Dorothy’s name to Kaplan Family Hospice House, C/O Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
