**Roberta Ann (Webber) Cottrell**
October 4, 1944 – March 2, 2025
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the incredible life of Roberta Ann (Webber) Cottrell, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Roberta’s presence brought warmth, wisdom, and joy to all who knew her.
Born on October 4, 1944, to Robert and Jo Webber, Roberta grew up with a deep appreciation for family, nature, and laughter. She shared an unbreakable bond with the love of her life, Warren Cottrell, her high school sweetheart. Married in 1964, they recently celebrated 60 beautiful years of marriage in August 2024. Their love is an inspiration, and together they built a life full of adventure, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Roberta is a cherished mother to Wendy (Cottrell) Backlund and her husband Karl, and Amy (Cottrell) Carey and her husband Bobby. She adored her grandchildren, Amanda Collins, Samuel Dickerman (wife Talia), and Hannah Rae Pratt (husband Taylor), and she found immense joy in her great-granddaughters, Olivia Rose and Sofie Ann. Roberta was predeceased by her beloved parents, her brother Ronald Webber and his wife Susan. But she also leaves behind her sibling in-laws and several nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved very much.
Her heart was always with her family, whether keeping the grandchildren for summer vacations, spending beach days on Cape Cod or in Florida, or even traveling across the country creating many adventures with Warren in their camper van. She cherished the simple joys of life—reading a good book, hiking, and sharing a meal with loved ones, always with a cold beer or a big margarita and a well-timed joke. Roberta loved her kitties, Mandu and Izzy, (and countless others over the years!) who brought her endless comfort and companionship
After working for 30 years at The Foxboro Company, Roberta pursued her passion for healing and opened The Reiki Room in Foxboro. For 22 years she touched the lives of many as a Reiki Master teaching and providing so much comfort to so many people over the years. She was a natural nurturer, bringing comfort and light to those around her.
Roberta lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness, wisdom, and joy will continue in the hearts of those who loved her.
Roberta's family asks that you honor her spirit by sharing a laugh, enjoying a day at the beach, or offering kindness to someone in need.
