Born April 20, 1948, in Wurzburg, Germany, to the late Capt. Joseph F. Concannon and Catherine E. (Droney). Loving father of William A. Concannon, Jr. and his wife Carol (Griffin), James J. Concannon and his wife Sarah (Smithline), Kevin M. Concannon and his wife Danielle (Fiorentino). Devoted grandfather to his ten adoring grandchildren John, Brian, James, Erin, Lindsey, Lauren, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Sean, all of Needham. Also survived by his brother Joseph F. Concannon, Jr. of Norfolk, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Thursday, March 6, at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday, March 5, from 4-7pm. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
