Obituary

William J. “Bill” Fox, 60, of Coventry died Tuesday February 11, 2025 at home. Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late James Fox and Helen Louise (Stoecklin) Beausoleil.
Bill worked in the masonry trade and other jobs in the construction industry.
Bill was a gifted artist and among his talents he enjoyed drawing and painting. He also admired quality tattoo art and designed several stencils.
Bill treasured time spending taking in the outdoors and cherishing all that nature has to offer.
Bill generously gave of his time and talents to help those recently released from incarceration as they adjusted back to society and rebuilt their lives.
Bill will be remembered for his grit and determination in the midst of his own personal struggles. Bill’s life was defined by his care and concern for others and his own unique outlook and personal take on the world.
Bill is survived by his son Eric Barry and his wife Christiana (Murphy) Barry of Woonsocket and his two daughters Dominque Parker of Woonsocket and Marlene Megler of Pawtucket. He was the brother of Susan Bulris of Woodstock, CT, Rosemary Hareld of Cumberland and the late Alan J. Bulris. Bill is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bill’s family will hold a private service and celebration of his life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Bills commitment to helping others, the family suggests that memorial donations in his memory may be made to organizations that help and serve those struggling with addiction and/or services and resources for those who have been recently released from prison incarceration.
Arrangements for Bill are in care of the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
