Obituary

EAST WATERBORO- Sally Anne Goodrich, born on November 17, 1942, in Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Sally was the devoted wife of William Goodrich and a cherished mother to Michael Goodrich and his wife Denise, Denise Bailey and her husband Craig, Timothy Goodrich and his wife Pamela, Tricia Goodrich and her fiancé Tom Dube, and Mandy Goodrich and her fiancé Jason Roy. She was a beloved grandmother to Brandon Goodrich and his wife Lindsey, Bryan Bailey and his fiancée Hannah Smith, Kathleen Boudreau and her husband Blake, Joshua Goodrich and his wife Rebekah, Kristin Ayotte and her fiancé Dylan Stiles, Morgan Ayotte and her fiancé Tim Dyer, William Goodrich, Cameron Goodrich, Elizabeth Goodrich, Ethan Roy, Sam Roy, and Morghan Roy. Her great-grandchildren—Layla, Oliver, Grace, Maya, Corbin, Colton, Brantley, and Mason—brought her immense joy. Sally also shared a deep family bond with Peter & Donna Roussin and their family members Mark, Victoria, John, and Braylynn.

She found happiness in tending to her garden, turning the earth into something beautiful. She delighted in home projects, cheering on the Bruins and Red Sox, gathering for family barbecues and games of cornhole. Whether sitting by the fire or taking small trips to the casino, she cherished every moment spent with loved ones. And sitting with her husband William outside for a morning coffee on the first warm days of late spring.

More than anything else in life, Sally was a wife and mother—her love stitched into every memory like a quilt woven from campfires and road trips; laughter echoing , running through sprinklers; gentle hands that wiped tears away; a heart so big it held generations together.

She now joins those who went before her, most of all her deeply loved and missed son Peter; her sisters, brothers and mother.

Sally’s warmth, humor, and boundless love will be missed beyond measure. Our world was brighter because of her—now heaven shines a little more. Save us a seat!

Sally’s wishes was to have a celebration of life with will be in June. Details of date and location will be shared by Family on social media as they become available.
