Lorna L. Donnelly, 65, of Franklin died peacefully February 25 at her home. She was the wife of Ted Donnelly for the past 43 years.
Born in Newton, April 17, 1959, the daughter of the late Evzen and Jacqueline Tupy, Lorna was raised in Framingham and had lived in Franklin for over 40 years.
After graduating from Framingham High School she began working for HBM where she met Ted. They moved to Franklin and built a family together. Lorna was foremost a committed Mom ensuring her boys were raised to be hard working, responsible, and engaged members of their communities. She also established her career as a lab technician at Waters Corp, Entegris, and Zymark Corp. Along the way she battled cancer and survived.
Lorna was an avid dog and horse lover, cherished swimming in the ocean and family pool, building puzzles, and watching her grandchildren grow.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jacob Evzen and his wife Pauline, of Wellesley, and Jared Austin and his wife Gretchen of Acton.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Everett Donnelly and Cashel Donnelly.
Lorna’s life will be celebrated on Friday, February 28 in a private ceremony with family and friends in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com
