She had a passion for plants and eventually founded, Appletree Nursery, a business that she was incredibly proud of. Her professional journey also included roles at the post office, as a realtor, and as a dedicated member of the Zoning Board of Belmont. In their later years, Joe and Joanne enjoyed winters in Melbourne, Florida where they created their own community.
Joanne was also known for her love of yard sales, redecorating, and making any space truly her own. She had an eye for quality and purchased several homes in the area to remodel over the years. Her creativity and passion for bringing new life to old things will be remembered by all who knew her.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held later this spring at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
