Mr. Leonard J. Peltier, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved husband of the late Veronica C. (Silva) Peltier, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Saturday afternoon, February 22, 2025. He was 92 years old.
Born in Phoenix, Rhode Island, Len was the beloved son of the late Amadee and Alpheda (Massee) Peltier. A graduate of Providence College, Len subsequently worked his entire career at Western Electric - holding various positions until he ultimately retired employed as a Department Chief of Engineering.
Len was gifted organ and piano player who spent his youth playing at Notre Dame Parish for many years while growing up. In later years, he spent a great deal of time doing woodworking - another passion of his. He loved his flower gardens as well. Everything was “beautiful” to him.
Len was loved by everyone in his path. He loved people and there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help solve any type of problem. He was a loving and giving soul.
