Linda Diane (DeMarkis) Cailler, 77, of Tewksbury, MA, passed away peacefully on February 22, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda was known for her unwavering determination and steadfast spirit, never backing down from what she believed was right.
She will always be remembered for the deep and enduring love she had for her granddaughter, with whom she shared her passion for fur coats and gold jewelry.
Born on February 15, 1948, in Woburn, MA, Linda was the daughter of James and Leonilda "Lee" (Colannino) DeMarkis and the cherished sister of Janice and Lillian.
A proud graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1965, she began her career in the beauty industry at Robert Newton’s Hair Salon in Woburn, where she served the community for nearly a decade. After moving to Tewksbury with her husband, she transitioned to a position at Wang Laboratories, allowing her to balance work with raising her child.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Cailler of Tewksbury; her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Meredith Cailler; her sister Janice Barch of Andover; and her sister Lillian and brother-in-law Mark Favreau of Newbury Park, CA. She was a proud and adoring Yaya to Ava Cailler and will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A viewing will be held on March 4 at 9:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, MA, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Linda’s life. All are welcome to attend.
