HIRAM- Hiram-Richard A. Watson 62 passed away after a brief illness on February 23, 2025. He was born in North Conway, NH on August 22,1962 to Myles and Joan (Leveille) Watson Jr. Richard attended local schools until he decided that working was more important to him and finally settled on working outdoors mainly in greenhouses. Later in life, he enjoyed working in the woodshop with his good friend Cliff Verrill. He would often be spotted walking the roads in our local towns, stopping to chat with people along the way. You would rarely see Rich without a smile on his face, enjoying every minute of life.
He is predeceased by his mother, Joan Leveille, father, Myles Watson Jr., brothers Mark Leveille, James and Gordon Watson, nephews, Greg and Adam Healey and Dana White III, his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Johanne (Batty) Leveille Sr, and his paternal grandparents, Myles and Hazel (Wilkinson) Watson Sr.
He is survived by his son, Richard M Watson of Waterboro, his sisters Parmelia Healey of Hiram and Laura Morrill and husband Danny of Fryeburg, his brothers, John Watson and wife Mary of Mississippi, Dwight Watson and wife Kim of North Carolina, and Scott Watson and wife Linda of Arizona, step sister Deborah Blackey and husband James of New Hampshire, sister in law, Diane Leveille of Hiram, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Cliff Verrill for all the care he did in Richard‘s last few months and the friendship he offered him over the last several years
A Celebration of his life will be held on June 8, 2025 at his sister’s home in Hiram.
