Judeth Patten Griffith, 55, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Hudson, NH, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, from complications following heart surgery. Jude was born on March 9, 1969, in Nashua, NH, and was a daughter of the late Richard and Patricia (Philbin) Howard. She was raised and educated in Hudson and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 3 ½ years.
Jude had a deep love for her family and enjoyed supporting them in all aspects of their lives. She was an avid sports fan, especially passionate about attending Bates Women’s Soccer games and Londonderry High School football games, where she cheered on her children’s teams with enthusiasm and pride. She also cherished spending time at Jenness Beach in Rye, New Hampshire, where she loved laughing and created lifelong memories with family and friends. Jude had a creative spirit and a passion for arts and crafts, especially crocheting, finding joy in making handmade gifts for loved ones. She also held great affection for going on drives with her husband during the weekend, enjoying the simple pleasures of life and exploring the roads together.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Patrick Griffith; her son Russell Greenwood and his longtime girlfriend Jaclyn Jenkinson; her daughter, Tessa Griffith; her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Amanda & Greg Moore, and their sons Connor and Parker; her brother, Richard Howard; her sister, Ruth Howard; her lifelong friends, Kevin & Tanya Walton; as well as her father-in-law, Dick Kendall.
After cremation, a memorial celebration will be held on Monday, March 3rd, from 5 to 8 PM at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A private committal of her cremated remains will take place in the spring.
