Joyce Owen Davis
December 7, 1953 - February 23, 2025
Joyce Owen Davis, 71 died on February 23, 2025 after an extended illness. Joyce was the only child of Milton and Ruby Owen, born on December 7, 1953 in Anderson. Joyce grew up in Anderson, IN and was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and Indiana Business College.
Joyce spent the early years of her career in retail management and in 1982 opened the Flower Hut Florist in her former childhood home on Mounds Road. Joyce, along with her husband Troy, went on to also own and operate Party Wizards with locations in both Anderson and Muncie. Joyce retired in 2016 and had spent the last few years her life raising her grandson with her husband.
Joyce carried a kindness that was unmatched and her ability to take on adversity was unwavering. Joyce had a deep love for her family, friends, and many sweet dogs over the years.
Joyce is survived by her husband thirty-seven years Troy. Her children Renee, Bradley, and Kathryn. Her Grandchildren Eli and Aria, and a brother-in-law Tony Davis.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, a brother in-law, and a nephew.
A funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27, at 6:00 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
