Joanne M. (Talaschuk) Fournier, of Londonderry, NH died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born in Lawrence, MA on April 6, 1963, to John and Beatrice (Costa) Talaschuk. She was educated in Lawrence local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1981.
She worked as a teacher for Head Start of Rockingham Community Action. Joanne loved nature and felt most at peace at the ocean. She shared her love of the ocean with her children and grandchildren. Joanne was proud of her Portuguese heritage having belonged to the Portuguese American Holy Ghost Fraternity in Lawrence.
She is survived by her four loving children, Nicholas Fournier and his wife Alexis, Joshua Fournier-Pike and his wife Angel, Lauren Fournier and her fiancé Brad Duguay, and Kathryn Fournier; two grandchildren, Adelinn Fournier and Makary Fournier-Pike; her sister, Christine Zinno and her fiancé Eric Breen of Methuen, MA; her two nephews, Collin and Brett Zinno; her cousin, Joseph Costa and his wife Tina Costa; as well as many nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Michelle Talaschuk.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 28th from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 1st at 1:00pm at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
