CHICOPEE – Deborah A. “Deb” Hartnett, 67, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with her caring brother, Joe, by her side. She was born in Springfield on August 6, 1957, a beloved daughter of the late John and Barbara (Johns) Hartnett. She graduated in 1975 from Chicopee Comprehensive High School, received an Associate’s Degree from Holyoke Community College and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. She was an accountant for over 34 years at the Orchard Golf Course in South Hadley. Deb was an avid 10 pin bowler, and enjoyed trying her luck at Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and MGM. She leaves her son, Daniel Hartnett, her loving brother, Joseph D. Hartnett of Chicopee; her many dear cousins including Maureen Kelley and her husband, Robert, of Ocala, FL, and Robert Regan and his wife, Lynn, of Enfield, CT; her best friend, Irma E. Lelievre of Chicopee; her extended family members and many friends. A private burial service will be held at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Chicopee.
