Anna D. (Brindle) Francis 85, of Dartmouth passed away on January 28, 2025 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Francis on December 30, 2024 with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Henry Brindle and Anna (Vlach) Brindle she lived most of her life in Dartmouth. She was a Dartmouth High School graduate and spent much of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors and her flower garden that grew in size each year. Anna was especially fond of a variety of irises that attracted butterflies and hummingbirds to her garden. Her religious faith included participating and volunteering in church activities. She will be remembered as an angel and a wonderful woman.
She is survived by four sons: Scott Francis and his partner Melissa Stroud of Fall River, Craig Francis and his wife Karen (LeBlanc) Francis of Dartmouth, Glen Francis of New Bedford and Gary Francis of Dartmouth; five grandchildren: Sean Francis, Kelly (Francis) Theodore and her husband Richard, Cara (Francis) Grillo and her husband Ethan, Glen Francis, Jr. and Brianna Francis; three great-grandchildren: Luca Theodore, Josie Grillo and Johnny Grillo; sister: Nancy (Brindle) Faria and her husband David; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Brindle.
