CHARLTON – Charles R. “Charlie” Bachand, 63, died Saturday, February 15, 2025 at home after a period of declining health.
He leaves his group home family and caregivers as well as many friends.
He was born on January 29, 1962 in Uxbridge, the son of Charles and Beatrice (Savage) Bachand and was raised in Whitinsville where he attended school.
He lived in Worcester and other communities before moving to Charlton in 2021.
He worked at Life Skills in Webster for many years.
Charles loved music, watching TV, taking walks in the park and watching baseball. A well-liked person, he had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with entombment in the columbarium at Saint Joseph Garden of Peace following. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home on Tuesday morning, prior to the service.
