Alexander “Bill” Grasso, 82, of Whitman, MA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday February 15th after a long illness.
Bill was born on January 2, 1943 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Alexander and Florence (Thomas) Grasso of Weymouth, MA. He was a graduate of Weymouth Schools. After high school Bill became a master mechanic working for various auto dealerships, ending his career with National Grid.
Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years Judy (Thompson) Grasso, three children Julie Mansfield Coon (Chris) of Whitman, Anthony Grasso of Bridgewater, and Nicholas Grasso (Jennifer) of Hanson. Loving grandfather “Bumpa” to Zoe Mansfield, Mason Mansfield, Willow Coon, Emerson Grasso, Aiden Grasso, Gavin Grasso, Sofia Grasso, Leo Grasso, Michael Coon, Caitlin Coon, and Ethan Coon.
He was predeceased in death by his sister Blanche Easter and brother Gregory Grasso.
As per his wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
