Calvin Stephens, 87, Anderson, went to be with the Lord, February 14, 2025.
He was born April 11, 1937 in Russell Springs, Kentucky, the son of Ezra and Arizona Stephens.
He worked at Gaar's Nursery for 46 years before retiring March of 2001.
He was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Calvin enjoyed working on lawn mowers and landscaping.
Calvin is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn (Miller) Stephens of Anderson whom he married January 17, 1958; two sons, Michael (Grace) Stephens and David (Patty) Stephens; four grandchildren, Darrin, Brad (Jennifer) Stephens, Ashley (Steven) Mauldlin all of Anderson; Megan Wright of Muncie; seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Landen, Jackson, Alyssa, Lincoln, Rylee Ann, Brooklin; siblings, Kevil Grider and Bobby (Geri) Stephens of Russell Springs, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Mark Sluss of 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
