Ricky Olin Johnson, 70, of Lenox passed away, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Johnson at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. Mr. Johnson will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born May 22, 1954, in Fort Myers, Florida, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Anita Mae Carddock Johnson and the Rev. Troy M. Johnson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Johnson and Curtis Johnson. Before retiring, he worked for Astro Exterminating Company; and he was of the Baptist faith. He cherished his wife; he loved yard work, his beverages and cigars. Kids were drawn to him for his kindness.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Tammy Ann Barnes Johnson of Lenox; and two sons, Brad S. Watson and Roy B. Watson, both of Tifton.
