SHREWSBURY_____ Mary (Lemanski) Jarowski, 95, of Shrewsbury, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She is survived by her son, Michael Marmysh and his partner Jane Tromovitch of Shrewsbury, who took care of her. She also leaves a daughter, Toni Vaudreuil of Gilford, NH, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, niece Theresa Dudzinski, and a beloved cat “Champ”. She is predeceased by her first husband of 40 years, Anthony Marmysh, who passed in 1978, her second husband of 31 years, Ted Jarowski, who passed in 2009, and all of her siblings.
Born in Worcester in 1929 to Mary Lemanski, Mary worked for the Neles-Jamesbury Company and was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She loved to travel, her favorite places being Maine, Florida, and the beaches and mountains of New Hampshire. Cooking was a lifetime passion for Mary, and she could often be found in the kitchen preparing Golumpkis or Kielbasa, her favorite Polish dishes. Mary had a profound love for animals, reserved not only for her pets, but also for the yard squirrels which she would feed regularly. Above all, Mary was a dedicated and loving mother. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Calling hours will be on held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester. A funeral with a Mass will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 23 Fales St. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park.
