Obituary

William J. (Bill) Brady passed away peacefully with family at his side on February 11, 2025, on his 87th birthday.

He was born on February 11, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ and lived many years in Nutley and Clifton, NJ. He married Angela Castellano on May 22, 1960 in St Mary’s church in Nutley, and they remained married for 65 years. Bill is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving honorably until 1966. He had a successful career as a Sales Engineer, spending many years helping to build pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity in the New York/New Jersey region.

He is survived by his wife Angela, three children Bill, Jr. of Wellesley, Massachusetts, Todd of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and Alyse of New York City. His 5 grandchildren Caitlin Yazel, Callie Clark, Christopher Brady, Nina Brady, Colin Brady, and 2 great-grandchildren William Yazel, June Yazel were the prize of his life.

Bill valued hard work and commitment and he embodied those values his entire life. We all learned these valuable lessons from him and will carry them with us. He also had a passion to fight for what was right, and that passion was displayed often. Nothing, however, surpassed his love for his family. We will miss him very much.

Funeral arrangements with Military Honors will be on Monday, February 24th at 10am at St. Paul’s Church in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
