Obituary

Patricia E. Bradanick, age 85, of Tewksbury passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Tewksbury Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Bradanick Sr. who passed July 2012 after 54 years of marriage, he was her first and only love.

Born in Lowell, August 29, 1939, she was one of five children of the late Francis and Elaine (Barron) Hickey. She was raised on the grounds of the Tewksbury Hospital and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School. Following High school, she attended Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing and earned her license in Practical Nursing. She raised her family in Tewksbury. She moved to Hampstead NH for 17 years, only to return to her family home in Tewksbury with her daughter.

Prior to her retirement she worked in area hospitals for the past 68 years. She retired after 38 years from Tewksbury Hospital and had also worked at Blair House Adult Day Care until retiring at 72 years old. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and summers in Meredith, N.H. Her greatest joys were her children.

Patricia will always be remembered for her warmth and sincerity, her kindness and generosity for all she encountered, her love of nursing and her dear husband.

Patricia's family extends a heartfelt thank you to the physicians, nurses, and staff at Tewksbury Hospital for the exceptional and loving care they provided to their mother.
Especially the staff of unit E3, in addition to Nancy Sydow NP and the staff at LGH Heart Failure Clinic.

Patricia is survived by 3 children. Cheryl Brouillette and her husband Frederick of Amherst, NH, Richard "Dinny" Jr and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH, and Martha Grant and her husband David of Tewksbury. She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne Abdinoor. Seven adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Jarrod Brouillette, Dendra and Caleb Abdinoor, Zachary and Alexander Bradanick and Addison Grant, her special granddaughter who has assisted in her caregiving for the last 12 years. Five great grandchildren Arabella, Ayden, Aaron, Talan, Eleanor, Brynn and Wyatt. Her sister Mary Lou Labossiere and her husband Jack of Port Charlotte, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Thomas and Robert Hickey and Kathleen Graham.

All are welcome to attend her visitation and funeral. On Thursday, February 13, her visitation will take place from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA. Her funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 14, at St. William of York Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA at 10 a.m.. Procession will follow for committal prayers at Tewksbury Cemetery.
