FRANKLIN --- Stephen Mark Sorrenty, 63, of Sand Hill Road, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Concord Hospital-Franklin.
Stephen was born on February 25, 1961, in Plymouth, NH, the son of Michael Thomas Sorrenty and Marilyn Elizabeth (Bordeau) Sorrenty.
In his earlier days he loved the outdoors. He’d usually be off the grid at the camp, right up north. He loved to drive around looking for moose, ride around on the 4-wheeler, go fishing and visit with friends. He was a great friend, and a helpful neighbor.
He also enjoyed old westerns, a good crime novel, and watching hours of literally anything and everything on Youtube. You could always find him tinkering around fixing things he could take apart and put back together (well, sometimes anyways). Chances are if you came around to visit, he’d rope you into a game of cribbage or heated debate, or both!
Stephen had a big heart and was proud to be a Papa. His warm spirit and one-of-a- kind nature made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will truly be missed.
Stephen is survived by his sons Chris Sorrenty and his partner Kelsey Goodman, and Justin Sorrenty; daughter Heather Sorrenty; siblings Michael Sorrenty, Paul Sorrenty, Cheryl McCann and Kim Sorrenty; the light of his life, granddaughter, Rivir Sorrenty; and several nieces and nephews. Stephen is predeceased by his father, Michael T. Sorrenty and his beloved dog, Lady. He is also survived by his mother, Marilyn Sorrenty.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
A private family burial will take place at his home, overlooking the river and woods he cherished so much.
