CHICOPEE – Richard N. Blais, 59, of the Doverbrook Estates in Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, February 3, 2025. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Sherbrooke, Province of Quebec, Canada on August 8, 1965, a beloved son of Louisette (St. Hilaire) Blais and the late Andre Blais. He was raised in Rochester, New York and came to Holyoke with his parents in 1967. He later moved to Chicopee where he lived the remainder of his life. He was last employed at the Prolitho Print Shop in Chicopee. Besides his loving mother, he leaves his wife, Ethalee L. Gendron; his devoted son, Nickolis A. Blais and his wife, Nuria, of Wilbraham; his cherished granddaughters, Quinn Blais and Grace Blais; his two dear brothers, Eric Blais and Timmy Blais, both of Chicopee; his two dear sisters-in-law, Angel Ford and her husband, Ronald Lee Ford, of Belchertown, and Alice Lyke; his dear brother-in-law, Ricky Lyke of Tennessee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members.
