Patricia Holmstrom

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Holmstrom, a beloved mother, teacher, and friend. Patricia passed away peacefully on February 6th at the age of 74.
Patricia was a dedicated elementary school teacher who touched the lives of many children throughout her career. Her patience, warmth, and commitment to helping others made her a beloved figure in the classroom and beyond.
Outside of her profession, Patricia had a passion for crafting. She was a talented knitter and basket maker, often creating beautiful and thoughtful items for friends and family. Patricia was also an avid traveler in her later years, embracing new adventures and exploring the world with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that she brought to all aspects of her life.
Patricia’s friends and family will remember her for her unwavering loyalty, kindness, and generosity. She was a strong and independent woman who loved spending time on the beach, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Whether she was tending to her lawn or spending time with her beloved pups, Patricia found joy in the rhythm of the everyday.
She is survived by her son, Pete Holmstrom, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Patricia’s life to which relatives and friends are invited will be on February 15th from 3-5 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home in Westport.
