Karen Norman Greene, 70, of Tifton passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Her funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ray Roberts officiating. Mrs. Greene will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born May 3, 1954, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Greene was the daughter of the late Curtis Lamar Norman and Ethel Jones Norman. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Norman and Louie Norman; and three sisters, Janice Clarke, Kathy Boyd and Susan Norman. Before retiring, she worked as a Quality Control Technician at Heatcraft for 39 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was truly a believer in God.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband of 51 years, Russell Greene of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stacie and Matt Moore and Dawn and Gene Grimes, all of Tifton; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ted and Eunice Norman of Moultrie, Tim Norman of Georgetown, Florida, David and Zena Norman of Tifton and Terry and Alesia Norman of Norman Park; one sister, Joyce Allegood of Bay; three grandchildren, Abbigail Moore, Maggie Grimes and Marlee Grimes; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Rita and Edsel Davis of Sautee Nacoochee and Sue Baughman of Tifton; one brother-in-law and his wife, Eddie and Debbie Greene of Tifton; several beloved nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
