Ronald J. Morin, 87, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 24, 1937, in Lowell, MA, a son of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Jette) Morin and had been a resident of Derry for the past 38 years, formerly living in Lowell, MA. Ronald proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked for New England Telephone for 35 years prior to his retirement. Ronald was a member of the VFW and the Halcyon Club. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, golfing and spending time at his winter home in Florida.
He is survived by a son, Jeffrey J. Morin and his wife Kim, daughter, Jennifer Sarcione and her husband David, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Lynda I. (Halligan) Morin in 2023, his daughter, Deirdre Morin, as well as his two brothers, Raymond and Normand Morin.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford, MA, where he and his beloved wife Lynda will be laid to rest.
