WORCESTER___Beverly G. (Roslund) Bankit, 85, passed away on Thursday February 6, 2025 in Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehab Center, Shrewsbury. Her husband, Leo G. Bankit died in 1986.
Beverly leaves her son, Gregory Bankit, Sr, and his wife, Paula, two grandsons, Gregory Bankit Jr, and his partner Lindsey Vivlamore and Ryan Bankit and many nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by a brother and three sisters, Harold T. Roslund, Sr, Barbara A. Morawski, Theresa M. Bagdis and Dolores B. Matczak. Beverly was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Harold L. and Sophie R. (Janiszewski) Roslund and has lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Worcester Girl’s Trade High School.
Beverly was a stay at home Mom and homemaker who also cared for her two grandsons and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held Tuesday February 11, 2025 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home Tuesday February 11, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. before the Mass.
