Michael Donald Kimball
March 10, 1967 – February 4, 2025
Michael Donald Kimball, 57, of Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2025. Born on March 10, 1967, in Boston, he was the beloved son of Maureen and Robert Kimball.
Known to many as Mike or Mikey, he was the definition of a “take it easy, man” kind of guy. A true go-with-the-flow spirit, Mike lived life in the moment, never sweating the small stuff and always finding joy in the ride. A talented painter by trade, he took pride in his work but never let it define him—he believed life was meant to be lived, not just worked through.
Mike was a loving father to his three sons, Jimmy, Joey, and Matthew Kimball, and a proud grandfather to Junior, Jacob, and Weston Kimball. He was also a cherished brother to Bob, Kathy, and Andrew. To many others, he was known as "Uncle Mikey," always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a story to share.
He had a deep love for the Boston Bruins, NASCAR, and classic muscle cars. His passion for rock music, especially Led Zeppelin, was unmatched, and he could quote Dazed and Confused from beginning to end without missing a beat. Though he always claimed he wasn’t a fan of cats, he made an exception for his grand kitty, Basil, and he absolutely adored his grand fur baby, Bear.
Mike’s presence was larger than life—his laid-back nature, quick wit, and ability to make everyone feel at ease will be deeply missed.
