Obituary

Raymond Lee Driggers, Sr., 81, of Nashville passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Driggers at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Omega Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Rodney Ward, Christian Brown, Adam Driggers and Raymond Driggers, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Born August 14, 1943, in Tifton, Mr. Driggers was the son of the late John Arthur Driggers and Mildred Ozelle Gregory Driggers. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Terry Lee Driggers; his second wife, Betty Haynie Driggers; and one brother, Larry Driggers. Before retiring, he was the owner of Electronic Liquidators; and he was of the Baptist faith. He loved restoring old cars; and he loved to fish. He enjoyed talking on his CB radio and his handle was “Hobo”.

Mr. Driggers is survived by his wife, Rebecca Petty Driggers of Nashville; one son, Raymond Lee Driggers, Jr. of Beaufort, South Carolina; one step-son and his wife,Damon and Jana Lokey of Montezuma; one daughter and son-in-law, Sonya Lee and Ronnie Reiselt of Beaufort, South Carolina; one step-daughter and her husband, Rose and Rodney Ward of Valdosta; six grandchildren, Ryan Reiselt, Cortney Cannon, Hope Toms, Adam Driggers, Amber Slupski and Christian Brown; and five great-grandchildren.
