Mary A. (Nadeau) Marden, 94, of Acushnet, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, February 7, 2025 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Leroy G. Marden, they shared 72 years of marriage.
Mrs. Marden was born in Rochester, daughter of the late Augustine and Alexina (Ouilette) Nadeau and had resided in Acushnet, MA since 2017. Prior to retirement, she worked for the former Purity Services, Inc., New Bedford, MA for 45 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Acushnet, MA. Her family was everything to her and she was known as an angel on Earth because of her big heart.
Survivors include her son: Jeffrey L. Marden and his wife Patricia of Dartmouth, MA; her 2 daughters; Nancy A. Misiaszek and her husband Theodore of N. Anson, ME and Elaine J. Jorissen-Gonneville and her husband Gerard of Acushnet, MA ; sister: Janet Marie Hall of Greenville, NC; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Florence Lemoine and Marjorie O'Brien.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet, MA at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday at the Potter Funeral Home, Westport, MA from 4-7 P.M.
Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
