Obituary

With great sadness, the Brice family announces the passing of Marie Dieudonne Seme on February 3, 2025. Born on November 19, 1925, in Tiguave, Haiti, to Joseph Dume and Arianne Fontus, Marie lived a full and vibrant life of 99 years.

Marie joins her siblings, her sister Idalie, and her two brothers Josapha and Juliano, her beloved daughter, Jeanne Brice; her cherished grandson, Robert Brice; and her dear son-in-law, Pierre Brice, in eternal rest. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Nerlande and Roberson Brice; her adored great-grandchild, Mackenzie Brice; and Mackenzie's devoted mother, Ann Wohlhueter.

Affectionately known as "Grand Grand" by Mackenzie, Marie was a beacon of joy and laughter. Her love for life was evident in her radiant smile and her unwavering support for her family. She moved to the United States, where she had the opportunity to create lasting memories with her grandchildren. Following a call to return to her homeland, Haiti, Marie's journey was interrupted by a devastating earthquake, prompting her return to the US, where she proudly became a citizen and embraced the chance to meet her great-grandchild.

Marie's life can be beautifully summed up by her devotion to God and her family. She felt truly blessed to witness two generations of her lineage, a privilege that few experience. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will forever be treasured.

Marie Dieudonne Seme will be loved, missed, and remembered. God bless you, Donne.
