Dan Lee “Daniel” Harris
June 13, 1944- February 3, 2025
Dan Lee “Daniel” Harris, 80, passed away at his home on February 3, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1944 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Raymond and Marjorie (Simpson) Harris.
Dan served in the US Navy and was employed for 50 years with Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. He retired as a supervisor in December 2022. He was an active member of St. Anne’s Anglican Church and a member of the Corvette Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Connie J. (Shanks) Harris; his children, Tonya Bay, Terra Jaggers, Tosha Harless, Sidney Harris, Jacob Harris, Adrianna Harris and Zachary Harris; grandchildren, Mya Harris, Diandra Perry, Meagan Jaggers, Madison Jaggers, Brianna Jones, Beonka Jones, Jackson Dodson, Iris Harris; great grandchildren, Da’Von Harris Banks, Adriaan Marks, Maddon Hudson, Zaileon Robinson, Dominic Perry, Gianna Dickey, DeMetri Dickey, Sincere Dickey; brother, Darrell Harris; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 6PM Monday, February 10, 2025 at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Rev. P.T. Morgan and Pastor Brian.
Visitation will also be held on Monday from 4-6 PM prior to the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Anne’s Anglican Church or Ambassadors for God’s Creatures.
