Teresa "Terri" Batten, age 64, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at home on February 3rd, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.
Born on February 10th, 1960, in Waltham, MA, Terri was the daughter of the late Florence and Alan Clement. She was raised in Wilmington, MA, and loved her occupation in the healthcare field, eventually earning her RN and later her bachelor’s degree. Her passion for caring for others led her to a fulfilling career in long-term healthcare, where she eventually became a Director of Nursing and later a dedicated Healthcare Inspector for the State of Massachusetts.
In 1978, Terri met the love of her life, Kenny Batten, and they built a beautiful life together celebrating over 46 years of marriage. They raised their three daughters, Tricia, Colleen, and Andrea, in the home they lovingly built in Wilmington, MA. Terri found her greatest joy in family, especially as “Nunny” to her cherished grandchildren, Haley, Kenneth, and Alexis. She loved making memories with them, taking trips, having sleepovers, and playing Mario Kart.
Terri was a strong, compassionate, and fun-loving woman whose generosity and warmth touched everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, daughters, grandchildren, brother Paul Clement and sister-in-law, Diane DiGirolamo, sister Barbara Palazzo, many nieces and nephews, her two son in-laws Mark and Tom, and her beloved dog, Teddy. She is reunited in peace with her parents and her brother, Philip Clement.
