With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Celia Francois, who departed this life at the age of 80 on February 1, 2025 in Norwood, MA. Born on October 15, 1944, in Hinche, Haiti, Celia was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering faith, and boundless love.
Celia endured a long and difficult battle with illness, yet through it all, she remained steadfast, courageous, and deeply devoted to God. She was known for her kindness, hard work, and loyalty, touching the lives of those around her with grace and compassion.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Wilfrid Fleurime, who was the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Kimberly Fleurime Philogene, Shoonlay Eloi Chatelain, Shawn Fleurime, and Sheridan Fleurime. She is also survived by her dear cousin, Olymcie Jean Baptiste, as well as her loving nieces and nephew: Mireille, Natacha, and Ricardo.
Celia’s life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and love. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Friday February 7, 2025 from 10-11 AM followed by a Religious Service from 11-12 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Burial will be Private.
