Priscilla Louise King (Thralls)
December 23, 1941 – January 19, 2025

Priscilla L. (Thralls) King, 83 passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025.

Born December 23, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Marvin A. Thralls and Franca (Sennhouser) Thralls of Syosset, NY.

Priscilla went to Oneonta State Teachers College, NY; New School for Social Research, NY; Holyoke Community College and U Mass. She was the owner of the Seventh Veil, a Clothing Boutique in Manhattan, NY; the Seventh Veil West in Mill Valley, CA; Owner of Howling Dog Farm breeding Malamutes and Shibu Inus in Worthington, MA. She also did Pet Care Sitting all over Western Massachusetts and for about 10 years was an Advocate working with women of domestic violence in Northampton, MA.

Priscilla, at her core, was an artist, a photographer, a master gardener, and a rock collector. She loved to be outside in nature painting the world around her, taking amazing photographs of everything from landscapes, flowers, the dogs she raised, but mostly of her beloved son Ethan S. King. She was so creative and funny and would go out of her way to help those in need from whatever resources she had.

The last 8 years of her life were spent at Care One of Northampton being cared for by the amazing Staff of Care One. Her family is forever grateful for the years of love and care they provided and have become part of our family.

Priscilla is predeceased by her parents Marvin and Franca Thralls. She is survived by her brother Christopher Thralls, her two sons Ethan King, Felix Caruthers IV and her daughter Victoria Mansfield and son-in-law Shawn Mansfield.

A Funeral Service will be held at Care One of Northampton on February 4, 2025 at 2:30 for family and staff who have taken such good care of her all these years.
