Barbara Jean Bridges, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, February 3, 2025, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Allen Bridges delivering the eulogy. The family will greet friends following the services at the cemetery.
Mrs. Bridges was born February 25, 1947, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Freddy & Minnie Wheeles. She lived her life around her family, being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Callie Garbutt.
She is survived by her husband, David Allen Bridges of Fitzgerald; three sons: Kenneth Allen Bridges, Sr., Danny Lee Bridges and Richard Freddy Bridges; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
