Maureen (Hart) Gosselin, 86, of West Boylston, formerly of Medway, died peacefully February 2 at Sterling Village in Sterling . She was the wife of the late Robert Arthur Gosselin.
Born in Boston, March 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Francis and Frances (Young) Hart. She had lived in Medway for many years.
Maureen was a remarkable and resilient woman. She faced so many challenges with strength and perseverance yet still made time form the things she loved like family, travel, and gardening.
Marueen was a blessed with 5 children including two sets of twins. One set of twins were born in Japan during her husband’s deployment in the United State Air Force.
Maureen loved sports, especially the Red Sox.
Maureen had worked until she was 78, with a strong incredible work ethic.
Maureen had worked at Wrentham Developmental Center and later the Medway Country Manor as a dietary aide.
Most of all Maureen, Mom, Nana, Nani cherished her family.
She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, funny sense of humor, and unwavering support will always be remembered.
Maureen’s legacy lives on through her family, and her impact on everyone who crossed her path will never be forgotten.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by love, as she was in life.
She is survived by her children, Andrew Gosselin of West Boylston, Andrea Roy of Millbury , Claudia Marsh and her husband John of Westminster , Clorissa Vater and her husband Michael of Bellingham, and was the mother of the late Robert Gosselin who died in 1988.
She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Hart of Los Angeles, California and Edward Hart of Medway.
Maureen was the sister of the late Elizabeth Adams, Patricia Hart , Claire Hart and Peter Hart.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Tieu and her husband Nia, Toby Marsh, Andrew Gosselin, Jr. and his wife Ashley, Heather Belland and her husband Dustin, Erica Widen and her husband Andrew, Amber Black and her husband Richard, Brian Marsh and his wife Cristal, Bobby Gosselin, and Carley Vater.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Arrianna Tieu, Addison Tieu, Bennett Black, Jack Belland, Sawyer Belland, Henry Marsh, Isabella Black, Benjamin Marsh, Brody Gosselin, and Julien Gosselin.
Her funeral service will be private.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
