Cyndi Stokes Delk, 70, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Cyndi will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Gary Vowell, Jeff Parsons, Mac Wilder, Dale Delk, Spud Bowen and Willie Laster will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Richard McCullough, Dr. Jim Scott, Francis Wisham, Dan Berry and Dr. Kyle Fleck.
Born September 10, 1954, in Lowndes County, Cyndi was the daughter of the late Margaret Ann “Peggy” Morris Stokes and the Rev. Olin Lee “O.L.” “Toby” Stokes. She retired from Georgia Sports Medicine; and she was a former member of Tifton’s First Assembly of God.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Mike Delk of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Matt Vice of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Delk of Tifton; one brother, Randy Stokes of Hawkinsville; Rob and Janice Patrick of Chula, who she considered a brother; ten grandchildren, Hope Goodman, Taylor Wade, Hagan Slimp, Hudson Slimp, Rollie Delk, Bailey Vice, Jaxson Hughes, Lilah Hughes, Caeden Vice and Maddox Vice; and one great-grandson, Olsen Wade.
Cyndi’s family would like to thank her caregivers, Teresa Jordan, April Spence and Loretta Kitchens, as well as Traditions Hospice for their exceptional care of Cyndi.
