Dolly Patricia Allender

Dolly Allender, 76, Anderson, passed away at Community Howard Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
She was born on April 17, 1948 in Anderson, the daughter of Jesse and Dollie (Gordon) Capshaw. She was employed as a dietician with Peers and Associates for many years and was a member of New Baptist Church in Alexandria. Dolly enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her three children, Carrie Morgan, Michael (Nora) Henson , Mark (Gina) Henson; grandchildren, Samantha Stuntz, Arthur Hall, Shawn Hall, Amber Harris, Alexandra Conner, Austin Henson, Elizabeth Henson, William Henson and Danielle Henson; many great grandchildren; three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Allender, her parents, and six siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 12noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until Noon on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to New Baptist Church in Alexandria.
