OXFORD, ME - Peter Michael Clark, age 78, born April 16, 1946, passed away
January 31, 2025, at home in Oxford surrounded by family, after rapid
declining health issues.
He was born in Portland, Maine to his parents Maxine & Bernard Clark.
He attended Bonny Eagle High School, class of 1964, following his graduation he
went to Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
In his adult life he had careers in commercial insurance out of Virginia. He owned
and operated a Greenhouse in Virginia while pursuing designing and building
homes around the Smith Mountain Lake region in Virginia. He was a broker and
owner of Bonny Eagle Associates- a real estate agency in Buxton, Maine. In his
later years, he worked for Loons Haven Campground in Naples, Maine.
In his free time he loved building and fixing remote controlled airplanes,
enjoying the outdoors, owning and riding horses, boating, fishing, and crabbing
in Virginia with his eldest son. He had a natural green thumb for planting annual
seedlings.
He was a member and Past Master of the Buxton Masonic Lodge #115 until his passing, where he
developed deep and cherished friendships.
He is predeceased by his mother Maxine Clark “Smith”, his father Bernard Clark,
his sister Jacqueline (Clark) Donald, and his brother in law Harvey Donald.
His surviving family is his son Michael R. Clark, a grandson Benjamin Clark, a
daughter Michelle Clark and her partner Mary Golder, a great grandson Brayden
Golder, a grandson- Bryce Clark, a granddaughter Sara (Clark) Piva and her spouse Frank Piva, Aaron Clark
and his spouse Chelsea Clark, grandsons Mathias and Tobias Clark.
He will also be missed by his cat, Allie.
Masonic Funeral Honors will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at 4 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton, followed by a memorial service to celebrate his life.
