Carol F. Quinno, a longtime Woburn resident passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 30, 2025, following a lengthy period of declining health. She was 80 years old. Carol was the beloved wife of Richard A. "Oscar" Quinno, and together they shared in 58 years of marriage. Born in Boston, Carol was one of four daughters of the late George and Sarah (Nicholson) Evans.
Carol was raised and educated in the Jamaica Plane section of Boston and was a graduate of the Holy Cross Academy in Brookline. She then went on to further her education attending Boston Sate College. Carol worked for many years as a receptionist with Johnson Rose Co. of Woburn and DataCon of Burlington. When not working she enjoyed shopping, attending live plays and musicals, traveling to Bermuda and trips with family to Disney World. Her greatest joy was her family and nothing made her happier than to spend quality time with them. She cherished her role as a grandmother and was always present never missing a dance recital, sporting or school event that her grandkids were participating in.
In addition to her beloved husband, Carol is survived by her daughters, Carrie Pagliccia and her husband Steven of Tewksbury, Caitlin Dezak and her husband Peter of Woburn. She was the loving grandmother of Ashley Ashland and her husband Ryan, Brittany Pagliccia, Cameron Dezak and his wife Abigail, and Colton Dezak. Loving great grandmother of Emilia Ashland. Sister of the late Catherine Evans, Beatrice Flynn, and Marjorie Jackson. She is further survived by her cherished niece Regina Flynn of Brockton. Sister-in-law of the late John "Bucky" Quinno and his surviving wife Lee Maynard. The family would also like to acknowledge and thank the staff and caretakers of Tufts Hospice as well as the staff and caretakers who cared for Carol at the Bear Hill Nursing Home.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, February 5th, from 9a.am. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 11:30 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
