Obituary

Thomas Hua, 57, of Worcester, died on Thursday, January 30th at UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. He leaves his wife, Ngoan Nguyen; a daughter, Alice My Van Hua of Worcester; his mother, Tran Thoai Truong of Worcester; four brothers, Loc Thu Hua and his wife, Diem Ngo of Paris, Thuvinh Hua and his wife, Lan Truong of Worcester, Khuong Hua and Tran Doan of Worcester, and Duon Hua and his wife, Thao Duong of Vietnam; two sisters, Quoc Phong Hua and her husband, Thanh Nguyen of Worcester and Duc Phong Hua of Vietnam; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Luan Hua in December 2024.
He was born in Phan Rang, Vietnam, and later immigrated to the United States, where he built a successful career as a software engineer at a leading technology company. His passion for soccer, staying informed through the news, and spending quality time with friends on weekends were just a few of the things he cherished. Above all, he deeply valued his role as a father, finding joy in every moment spent with his beloved daughter, Alice. His legacy will live on through the love and memories he leaves behind.

His services will be held on Thursday, February 6th beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by cremation at 1:30 p.m. in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street.
