Nicola Francesco Galluzzo passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, after a long illness.
Nick, as he was known by all, was one of ten children born in Grotteria, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Immacolata (Agostino) Galluzzo. Nick arrived in America as a young teenager, settling in Arlington, Massachusetts. Nick was a Master Tailor for 65 years and learned his skill at a young age. He made police and fire department uniforms for men and women all over the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond.
Nick had six daughters with his former wife, the late and beloved Anna (Rocino) Galluzzo. He leaves his daughters Diane Drugas, Jessica Walsh, Annamarie Galluzzo, Tina Caruso, Jane Gallagher and Cynthia Crump, and five sons-in-law, George, Gary, Jay, Rudy and John, as well as nine grandchildren. Nick was the brother of the loving Theresa Salerno, Nancy Agostino, Salvatore Galluzzo and the late and also loving Maria, Rosa, Carmela, Matilda, Palma and Anthony. He also leaves behind his longtime companion, Rosalia Izzo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, February 5 from 11 AM to 12 Noon with a funeral service in the funeral home at Noon. Services will conclude with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
