Pauline “Nana” Keaten

WEST BALDWIN- Pauline F. Keaten, 69, of West Baldwin, ME, was tragically and unexpectedly lost on January 28, 2025.
She came into the world in Portland, ME on January 5, 1956, to Nelson and Nellie Estes. Pauline worked at a bottling company, before becoming disabled. She enjoyed spending time with her loved one’s and friends.
Nana’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to her family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of her and was taken far too soon.
In light of the sudden news, the family asks for privacy as they deal with this tragic situation.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, her mother, a sister Florence Estes, 3 brothers Edward Estes, Jeffery Estes (Amy) and George Estes (Joan), and a stepdaughter Tammy Daigle; and is survived by her husband Alfred Keaten, a sister in law Eleanor Rinehart, 2 sisters Cindy Bush (Stephen) and Lorna Maynard, 2 brothers Nelson Estes Jr (Mary) and Norman Estes, her daughter Jodi Thompson, 2 stepsons Albert Keaten and Charlie Keaten, 2 stepdaughters Stacy Keaten and Tabatha Cook, 4 grandsons Kevin, Jacob, Tobias, and Marshall, 5 granddaughters Heather, Sarah, Beatrice, Anisa, and Bella, 4 great grandsons, a great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews, and extended family & friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the home she shared her life with her loving husband and family. The family will reach out with the date and time of the event. Patience and understanding at this devastating time would be greatly appreciated.
