Llukan Prifti, 78, of Worcester, died on Friday, January 30th at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife, Hamide (Senko); a son, Gerald Prifti and his wife, Odeta Dyrmishi; a daughter, Klojana Prifti; and two grandchildren, Darian and Amelia all of Worcester.
He was born in Berat, Albania, to Vasil and Dhoskie (Prendi) Prifti. A skilled and accomplished doctor in Albania, he immigrated to the United States in 2001, where he continued to build a meaningful life. Llukan was deeply devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, and he cherished spending time with them. His love for his homeland remained strong, and he often traveled back to Albania, maintaining a close connection to his roots.
His calling hours are on Monday, February 3rd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Funeral services and burial will be in Albania.
