Rosemary Lynch (O’Keefe) entered into eternal life on January 27th, 2025, predeceased by her husband of 65 years, John J. “Jack” Lynch, Jr., in 2016. Mother to Maureen Macken and her husband Michael of Malden, Kevin Lynch of Malden, Brian Lynch of Fremont, NH, John Lynch and his wife Michelle of Wakefield and Karen DeChristofaro and her husband Louis of Malden. Rosemary was grandmother to Brian and Daniel Lynch, Michael and Michelle Macken, Ryan Lynch and Timothy DeChristofaro. Great grandmother to Chandler, Madeline, Addison and Jameson Lynch. Rosemary was happiest when cooking during the holiday season. She was the chocolate chip cookie supplier to Wicklow Avenue during her later years. She also made her famous holiday coffee bread. Rosemary retired from the Malden Evening News and enjoyed her retirement with Jack as lifelong Medford residents vacationing at Cape Cod and Ogunquit, Maine. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday January 31st at 9 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 30th from 4-7 PM.
