William S. Schwinn, age 79, affectionately known as Bill “Cowboy” passed away on January 25, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Peter S. Schwinn and Helen M. Schwinn. William served in the US Army during The Vietnam War as a combat soldier from 1965 to 1969. He later worked as a truck driver for many years before he retired. He loved listening to classic rock, playing Keno and scratch offs. Bill’s memory will always be cherished. A prayer service with military honors will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
